What do you get when
you mix Sammy Hagar and George
Thorogood? Great Rock n Roll and some crazy times thrown in for good
measure!
As the Crazy Times tour marches on fans are in for a real treat of some
of best rock music of all times.
Rock music legend George Thorogood & The Destroyers performed
first,
and started it off with Rock Party which set the pace for what was to
be
a full set of energy charged songs.
Who Do You Love, I Drink Alone, House Rent Blues, Get a Haircut were
just
a few notable hit songs. For the finale he jammed out Bad to the Bone
which
was released 40 years ago this week.
While George has been with his music project since the beginning, Sammy
has had numerous projects starting with the group Montrose (73-75), Van
Halen (85-86. 03-05) and culmination with his current band Sammy Hagar
and
the Circle. Sammy's latest project The Circle includes his longtime
friend
from Van Halen times - bassist Michael Anthony. Michael has also been
involved
in many of Sammy's other numerous projects. On the drums The Circle
have
legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonhams' son Jason Bonham.
Mastering
lead guitar duties is the phenomenal Vic Johnson. Sammy and Michael are
inducted into the Rock'n'roll Hall of Fame as members of Van Halen.
Crazy times continued
with many notable songs -
There's Only One Way to Rock, Three Lock Box, Rock Candy, Why Can't
This
Be Love, I Can't Drive 55, an emotional Eagles Fly finishing off the
night
with When It's Love.
If you have never seen Sammy live you need to make plans right now to
be
there on his next trip through H-Town. He never disappoints.
