Tender, patient, and anthemic, “Wait it Out” leafs through the pages of a chapter without allowing the book to slam shut — Stream. Arriving on April 17 via Position Music, Foxtide will release their second album titled Entropy. A more mature step away from the surf-rock foundation the band introduced themselves with, Entropy draws near to the disorderly quality of life. Where celestial, nostalgic synths soar, the record remains tethered by guitar-forward arrangements and unguarded lyrics — Pre-save. Singer Elijah Gibbins-Croft said, “‘Wait it Out’ can be a message to yourself or the ones you love. That you’re willing to be patient for yourself or for them. Whether it’s waiting until you see them again or waiting with them for the hard times to pass.” Ahead of the album, the band has launched their Make Him Run campaign. If Entropy gets over 10,000 pre-saves, bassist Oey James will run a marathon in a Canadian tuxedo, holding his bass. Pre-save and keep up with his progress here. After playing over 100 live shows last year, Foxtide has no plans of staying off the road. Kicking off next month, they will embark on the Entropy Tour. The Los Angeles and San Diego dates sold out within days and second shows were added in each city, with the band’s Brooklyn selling out this week too. Along the way, they will make a stop to perform at Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City. See all tour dates here and below. The SoCal three-piece was formed around garage jam sessions and earned their cult following through the intense vitality of their live shows. First starting to release music in 2019, it was the band’s second EP Visions in 2021 that took them from a hometown secret to a band to watch nationally. Foxtide has previously played alongside The Backseat Lovers, Echo & The Bunnymen, Lime Cordiale, Sarah and the Sundays, Mustard Service, Beach Goons, and joined the lineup of Shabang, Nothing Fest, and more. Moving into the chapter of their next project, Foxtide is abandoning the idea that they need to create “perfect” music, and simply making what they like to listen to. Tinged with the aloofness of early 2000s rock, while experimenting with the formulas of modern pop, all threads are knotted in the authenticity behind Foxtide’s unrelenting love for music. The band's third EP Paradise helped them secure critical looks from Fashionably Early 'Bands that Deserve to be Bigger', Luna Collective Magazine, and their debut LA headline show selling out. Their most recent record earned them the cover of Fashionably Early's playlist as well as their first editorial look from Spotify in 'All New Rock,' and Apple's 'New In Rock' and 'New In Alternative.' On the heels of the deluxe version, the band secured support tours with Arcy Drive, Pity Party Girls Club, and more to be announced. Foxtide has most recently signed a record deal with Position Music, and will be releasing their second full length LP, Entropy on April 17th. ### For more information on Foxtide, please visit: Website | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify | Apple Music |
