Their first project in over 2 years, the five songs perfectly capture their ethereal brand of dream pop, merging wistful vocals with fuzzed-out, harmonic guitars. Arriving with the EP is the official music video for “Little Birds,” which features the band in a serene nature scene as the song builds up to an emotional catharsis. "We shot the Little Birds video outside the city in rural Wisconsin,” explain she’s green. “We set up instruments in a forest clearing and had a great team to help us get it done. We wanted to really cap off the EP with a performance like this and just have some fun with it.”
LISTEN TO CHRYSALIS WATCH “LITTLE BIRDS” Throughout this week, the band spoke to The FADER and Star Tribune about the release, the former saying, “The new EP feels like a shot to the arm for the shoegaze revival scene with a sound that is both richly melodic and devastatingly noisy.” Last month’s single “Willow” offers a glimpse into the band’s soundscape of fluttering dreams, exploring their decaying perspective on nature, accompanied by a stunning music video. “‘Willow’ reflects on our dying relationship with the natural world—a relationship that’s not always loving, but formative nonetheless,” she’s green explains. “Willow” quickly saw support across DSPs, from Spotify playlists like Lorem, Shoegaze Now, and Today's Indie Rock to flagship editorial playlists on Apple Music and Pandora. This year, the band also shared “Figurines” and “Graze,” their first offerings since 2023’s debut EP, Wisteria, which received recognition from all corners of the internet, especially on Reddit. Songs like “Mandy” and “Syndulla” quickly became fan favorites for their otherworldly sound, thoughtful production and emotionally intense lyrics. WATCH “WILLOW” WATCH “FIGURINES” WATCH “GRAZE” she’s green show no signs of slowing down. The band has had a jam-packed 2025; after opening for Frank Black at The Current’s 20th-anniversary show earlier this year, they joined Phoenix shoegaze band Glixen and LA trip hop group After on the road. Playing across the country and making first-time appearances at San Francisco’s Noise Pop Festival and Seattle’s Freakout Weekender, a tour supporting Softcult followed. This fall, they’ll support heavy hitters Slow Pulp, Blondshell, Drop Nineteens and Softcult across the U.S. and UK. ABOUT SHE’S GREEN she's green is a Minneapolis-based dream-inducing five-piece composed of vocalist Zofia Smith, guitarists Liam Armstrong and Raines Lucas, bassist Teddy Nordvold, and drummer Kevin Seebeck. Creating dreamscapes that transport the listener to scenes of soft summer rain and fields of swaying wheat, the group excels at infusing raw emotional intensity into their music. The band has toured throughout the Midwest and East Coast, sharing bills with fellow game-changing contemporaries such as Hotline TNT, Glixen, Friko, and more. Initially receiving recognition for their debut singles, "river" and "smile again,” they have become a staple within the Midwestern alternative scene and has led to praise from nationally and locally from PAPER Magazine, Complex, The Current and Star Tribune. Through their honest and explorative songwriting process, their debut EP Wisteria spawned, establishing them as a force in the world of sonic surrealism.
